What the network remembers
We keep this deliberately small. What we don't collect matters as much as what we do.
Never collected
- No location, ever. A tap never records where you are — no GPS, no location from your IP, no venue. The network knows two hooks met; it never knows where, and it never will.
- No tapper identity. When someone taps a hook we store only that it happened and when — never who tapped it.
- No tracking. No fingerprints, no ad pixels, no selling your data.
- No passwords. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
What we keep
- Your email — the one thing that lets your hook follow you to a new phone. Nothing else identifying.
- Your signature (a handle like VESPER-07) and which hooks are yours.
- Where each hook points, and a plain count of how many times it has been tapped.
That's the whole list. A product that's easy to leave is one worth staying in.
